White House Down (2013)
6/10
It was okay. Not as bad as people make it out to be. Clearly a Die Hard rip-off, but whatever.

7.5/10 This movie was actually better than I thought it would be. It is basically about a mafia family moving to France in order to aviod getting wacked. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was going to be another goofy mob comedy. But it actually took itself a bit more seriously, with some dark humor thrown in there a few times. Though, the one thing I did fine goofy is when that one scene where they went kinda meta, where Robert De Niro's character was watching Goodfellas. Anyway, if you like mob movies, give this one a shot (no pun intended).

The Gift (2015)
8/10
Great movie! Lots of twist and turns and whatnot. So don't let the trailer fool you. It is not what it appears to be.

Leviathan (1989)
6/10
Kinda like the movie, but have to admit that it is kinda an Alien and The The Thing rip-off. Basically an alien in the deep sea. Which is still a cool concept, but there is too much copying. I have a soft spot for it all because of Peter Weller and Ernie Hudson. So you will get entertainment out of that. But I think 20th Century Studios' Underwater does deep underwater horror a bit better. Mainly because it uses Cthulhu Mythos, which makes perfect sense. I mean, so does Leviathan, but I don't know. The copying of Alien and The The Thing ruins it. But open to be proven wrong.

Unnatural.
A pretty good wintery monster movie with some excellent effects, but, sadly I couldn't really appreciate due to the monster's rampage have been filmed in near complete darkness. It was so bad, that I no clue to who was being killed. That really holds the movie back and wish filmmakers wouldn't do this.

Watch the amazing Spider-Man, it isn't good. Isn't bad either. Don't think I'll watch it again.

I only saw parts of A Night To Remember. I hear that it is better than the James Cameron version. Though, I remember the Titanic sinking was a bit comical. Not bad, just dated how the Titanic sinking scene was is all.

The Nazis made a version of the Titanic too in 1943, it's not bad but it comes with English subtitles. Goebbels used a fake German officer as propoganda. In the movie the fake officer was the only sane rationale one who warned the rest about the danger of sailing into an iceberg field. All the British officers onboard were all stupid.

Nightbreed (Director's Cut) - 8/10
Awesome horror flick! With elements of dark fantasy, slasher, superhero, etc.
Dune Part Two - 9.5/10
RIP Disney's Star Wars
The Green Knight - 5/10
WTF did I just watch!? As a fan of the original poem/story, this adaptation takes a whole different route. My memory of the original poem/story is a bit of a blur, but I know it is nothing like this at all. So for those who have watched the movie and don't know the original poem/story, they both are completely different. Makes me want to go back to the original poem/story and see what am I missing.

Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai - 7/10
Odd movie. Plays like an episode of Futurama or Rick & Mortey, only without the runch. I think this is suppose to be a parody. Still just so random. But still a fun movie to watch, mainly because there are a lot of actors here that you know before they became stars. Like, Peter Weller, John Lithgow, Jeff Goldblum, Clancy Brown, Christopher Lloyd, Jonathan Banks, etc. So it is fun to see them all interact in this wacky sci-fi shenanigans.

No One Will Save You (2023)
A bit late on this one, since I don't use Hulu that much due to ads. About 2/3rds of this is a pretty good and effective chiller that excels at building tension and keeping the viewer on edge constantly. Kaitlyn Dever delivers a strong performance and manages to convey plenty of emotion with very little dialogue. Unfortunately, the movie kind of falls apart in the 3rd act with an unnecessarily confusing and bizarre climax that's too much of a departure from most of the movie's simplicity. With a better ending this could've been great, but as is it's still a fairly solid thriller. 7/10
