Yeah, with that budget, Disney better hope this really catches on with people like Frozen did, even Encanto didn't really blow up until it hit streaming. This looks more interesting than those to me, so I'll keep an eye on it.

There's where Disney fuck'd up. They've been releasing their animated films on Disney+ right away to the point where general audiences just rather watch them at home with the kids. Which I get, it feels more personal that way. So Disney took out the "event" out of their animated stuff. This is exactly why they are making Toy Story 5 because that's Pixar's biggest draw to get more people to the theater.

That is hella short, some of the 90s Disney animated films are that short, but end credits also weren't as long back them. Also, I've never seen the first trailer for this in theaters oddly enough. I have seen the still unreleased 2nd trailer for Trolls 3 a handful of times in theaters though.

Doesn't look too bad, I think it's because it isn't Pixar that the animation doesn't look anywhere near as beautiful as Toy Story 4. But the story looks like it might be mildly interesting so I'll probably watch it if I remember to.

It looks alright, though some of the humor landed with a thud. I'll definitely see it at some point, though not sure if it'll be in theaters or on Disney+.
