I get the "lesser of the two evils" aspect, but is it really? Leatherface's family were nuts.

I get the "lesser of the two evils" aspect, but is it really? Leatherface's family were nuts. Well, it was at that moment at least. And while the Sawyers were nuts, the cousin didn't grow up with them raising her. The mayor and company went after to kill her not because she was as crazy as they were, but only because she was their child. And yes, I do know I'm defending a film that has a Chicago resident scream "WELCOME TO TEXAS MOTHERFUCKER" at Leatherface. Don't judge me.

New York, New York (1977)
Finally finished it. It's a better movie than thought, but still Martin Scorsese's weakest film as far as I've seen. It's still a very well made movie, I just think the pacing ruins it at the beginning. But yeah I can totally see why Joker 2 might be influenced by the movie. Not because of the musical aspect, but also the relationship of the two main characters are toxic. Robert De Niro's character is a mentally abusive narcist. Probably going to re-watch this movie again after Joker 2. Because it's a movie that feels like you need to watch multiple times to truly appreciate.

Trash. Not even a hint of a scare.

Here Comes The Munsters (1995). A lesser-known attempt at rebooting the series for modern audiences that's not only pretty good but surprisingly a bit relevant in terms of politicians and attempting to blame other peoples just to hate them.
Honestly, with a bit more polish this could have done great in theaters.
8/10

I keep re-watching movies I like these days. Saw OUATIH, where's the longer cut Sony/Tarantino! The editing feels weird at times. It was still fun and I love the nostalgic vibe. Wish Margot had a bigger role though.

The Seventh Curse is the pure bonkers in the best way possible. I high recommend it.

Thor Love & Thunder. Marvel forcing too much humor along with a failed attempt at trying to generate an 80's aesthetic. But still fun.

Watched this ten years ago in the theater and didn't care for it. Just watched it and loved it. Don't know what the hell I was smoking back then.

Minions The Rise of Gru. Decent soundtrack and was entertained as well. Can't complain.

I'd love to see one last movie that connects the events of Covenant to the events of the first Alien film. Just cap it all off with one last one. Probably won't get it though.

Perhaps you were blinded by bias for an earlier film? And then revisiting, you put that bias aside to truly enjoy the film? Like what you should do with another specific film?....

John1701D attempting to find criticisms for Alien 3 besides "IT GAVE ALIENS A BAD ENDING" and "EGG ON SHIP NOT POSSIBLE" despite being fine with the Alien Queen somehow being able to latch on to the back of the escape ship in Aliens. Colorized.

Mike, you're liking the post of someone who earlier said Morbius > Godfather so yeah.... But fine, I'll try this with you one more time. It's OK if we don't agree on Alien3 but I hope you can at least acknowledge the people that dislike it have a point. Killing off Hicks and Newt sucks, but it's almost beside the point. Alien3 could be a great movie and I'd still hate it. What angers me and others is the complete lack of consideration Fincher had. It's an insult to Cameron and the fans of Aliens. Fincher had a complete blank slate. He could have done literally any story he wanted. There is ZERO reason to have picked up immediately after Aliens and render it pointless. If you still don't agree then imagine this. Cameron comes back for Alien 4 and in the first scenes we see Ripley in hypersleep having a nightmare and it turns out that Fiorina was just a dream. You'd be pissed off.
