Without getting into spoilers, the leaks seem to imply that Fantastic Four movie's Reed comes from the multiverse as well and will pop up in a certain MCU movie before the Fantastic Four movie happens. lol! Nevermind. There may be some truth to it, but they changed it to something else.

I mean, we've been through this, people asking something as if they are ever going to just flat out say yes, which they rarely ever do. IF you have to rely on someone else higher up in charge to answer, you can say with 90% certainty that they are passing off the question so they don't potentially spoil something they shouldn't. Which means it's most likely true. Seen it happen all too many times.

Yeah but then you have that rumor that The Maker will be the villain in the Fantastic Four movie. So that's ANOTHER Reed variant shenaniganing around. IF the rumor is true, anyway.

Rumors are just that. The way the people who have inside information act is usually a big tell. That's just how it works. Take NWH as an example. There were rumors that MJ from the Raimiverse would be in the movie with her kids from Peter. When asked about it the actress flat out said she had no idea/wasn't even contacted about it. That is truth. Then you have what Andrew Garfield did, which was of course a lie, but entertaining all the same. The best way for people to not spoil the movie is to basically say they haven't heard anything about that rumor and have some conviction in their voice. Any other response kinda gives the game away based on how other people have handled questions for spoilers in the past.

Yeah that's why I'm calling it a rumor and not a leak. An ACTUAL leak is when multiple reliable scoopers reveal this info. If that was the case, I wouldn't talk about The Maker in non-spoiler threads. Even though multiple sites will probably report it anyway. But no, The Maker rumor is just that. A rumor. I just thought it made sense because of Marvel's plans for the multiverse.

Yeah I get it, it's just someone trying to avoid the question. I'm just reading between the lines based on previous behavior to spoilery questions. But they could be more like Alfred Molina, and confirm it instantly as soon as they are asked.
