He signed almost 3 years ago, things change. Deadline posted he needed a breather. Frankly I think it's for the good, like Raimi directing DS2. I still don't buy it. If he needed a breather, he wouldn't gone straight to that Clooney and Pitt movie right away. Clearly, that is what he prefers right now. |

Me and mwynn were talking about this months ago. We were like, what version of Reed we are going to get in the Fantastic Four movie? Because of all the multiverse shenanigans I was confused. Without getting into spoilers, the leaks seem to imply that Fantastic Four movie's Reed comes from the multiverse as well and will pop up in a certain MCU movie before the Fantastic Four movie happens. |

It is rumored, might not be true at all, that Reed Richards himself will be the villain in the Fantastic Four movie. Again, multiverse shenanigans.

I hope not. I'd rather these movies not focus too heavily on the Multiverse, or to term that better: not come to rely on the Multiverse. Let there also be standalone stories too.

Because I was expecting one actor, then they announce different actors. Then you got all these variants running around. With a different Reed than the one we got in MoM and The Maker being the villain, IF the rumors are true anyway. |

I guess Krasinski could get more time in FF to flesh out Reed more, so he doesn't seem so basic.
