I was never the biggest fan of Blade Runner 2049, Dune is a lot better. Love Blade Runner 2049. My only nitpick about the film is somewhere between the second and third acts, it felt like they were setting up a sequel. But I totally understand those who prefer Dune.

Losing interest in movies these days. There was a time around 2015-2016 when I watched every big movie and indies in theaters but now I don't feel the need to or have the motivation for it. I watched The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent last week and found it alright but they could have had more fun with the concept than turning it into a spy comedy in the second half. Almost feels like different movies at times lol.

I don't think I can ever lose interest in movies, but I totally understand the lack of motivation part. There still a ton of movies I want to see, but I'm never in the right mood for them. Gotta be in a different place in my life in order to get around to them. Same with video games. Haven't been as active in gaming in a couple of years because I'm too focus in trying to make money and getting into that place in my life where I want to be.

I really don't care for Ruffalo's version of Bruce Banner. I actually preferred Ed Norton's take.

The only reason people think the first Jurassic Park film "has the magic" is because the SFX was groundbreaking at the time. Other than that, story's literally the same quality as the other Jurassic films.
People really need to take off their nostalgia goggles and smell the hummus.

Original is a simple more concise story that's not overly convoluted. I really like Lost World and enjoy the other sequels as dumb fun, but 3-6 are enjoyable movies with poor writing (or JP3's case they basically didn't even have a complete script).

I like The Lost World. The sequence with the RV falling off the cliff is lifted straight out of the original books, a great scene with actual dread and peril, something lacking in the Jurassic World movies.

All of the peril scenes in the films that are lifted from the book are really solid. However there's some left out that's still in the book that'd be incredible adapted properly to screen.

It was the first time people had an idea how dinosaurs looked realistically. Even though the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are not all that accurate. Hell, even Spielberg forgot that dinosaurs are closely related to birds than lizards. Someone in his production team had to correct him because Spielberg almost added lizardry features to the dinosaurs, so thank God Spielberg came to his senses. But ANYWAY I imagine, at that time, people knew dinosaurs were real, but never take it seriously because dinosaurs were usually used in clay stop-motion in movies before Jurassic Park.

I know what thread we're in but sometimes you read something so egregious there's just no way you really believe the person.

Kung Fu Panda 2 > Toy Story 4

Anyone thinks a film bombing is "karma" for the studios for making a dumb decision and that they deserve "reputation-destroying" failure is brain dead.
If that was the case, then there would be no film industry dummy.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is a disgrace to the excellent original and shouldn't have been made.

The upcoming Spider-Man spin offs from Sony aren't going to be good and will end up bombing like Morbius. Possibly worse.
