I don't want the original Star Wars versions to ever get an official release.
With the OT purists bitching and whining to the point of sending death threats to Lucas for having Greedo shoot 0.01 microseconds before Han, they deserve to never see it happen.
Special Editions for life lol

lol, part of me is like, FUCK NO! But I can't remember the original theatrical versions that much. I haven't seen them since the 90s. "Han Shot First" thing is distracting, though. WTF was Lucas smoking on.

The run time for movies have become beyond a joke. Not everything needs to be an over two hour epic.

People complain about Warner Bros. Discovery removing "HBO" from Max. I've told people for months why they decided to do that, and I was right. Now, it should be more obvious than ever. As much as I love the Discovery channels, they really stick out like a sore thumb being mixed in with the more cinematic conent from HBO. Sometimes it feels like Discovery+, but with movies. Not a bad thing, but I think they made the right move to remove "HBO" from the title. It would be misleading to keep it on.

James Cameron is better at execution than he is a storyteller. That's not really a bad thing. Is just that the stories in his films have been done before already, but he surely knows how to elevate them which is what makes him a great filmmaker. But doesn't know how to reinvent storytelling.

I can't get into steampunk in live-action films. Don't know why. I love steampunk in animation, but for some reason it doesn't translate well into live-action. Really takes me out of the movie.

Kingsman The Golden Circle > Kingsman The Secret Service.

New Nightmare is fine, but it ddoesn't feel like a real Nightmare On Elm Street film. It felt more like a Wes Craven 90s style horror than his 80s work. Also Freddy isn't really Freddy. He is more like a demon & the story is more of a metaphor, so you can't interpret it in a narrative sense.

Toy Soldiers should be remade. Especially considering with all the school shootings happening in recent years makes it more relevent. Also add this song to the remake...

Yeah, no one in Hollywood would have the balls to do that. There was Run,Hide,Fight awhile back, that did this and the filmmakers got shit on for doing so.

Yeah, I totally get that. A movie about school shootings is still a very touchy subject. Even I got disturbed when they made a movie based on the Colorado high school shootings. I refuse to watch that movie again. At the same time, I still feel a remake of Toy Soldiers can be better than the original. But I agree that right now may not be the right time.

Harrison Ford is better at playing cop-type characters than with Han Solo and Indiana Jones.
