Fox's Fantastic Four (the first two anyway) would be tolerable if they removed Jessica Alba and Doom. Because in terms of pitch and tone, they were spot on. But some of these characters were so botched that people overlook at every else. I mean Ioan and Chiklis were great in the roles, but man did Alba's casting date the film big time......And the less said about Doom (and Rise of The Silver Surfer) the better Also, apparently Sean Astin was going to direct the film at some point. That would have been interesting to see. Evans was good too. But, MAN, Alba was so badly miscast. I think she even semi-quit acting because of her role as Sue. As for Doom, don't give me wrong, I want some Doom, but like Kevin Feige said once, don't adapt things you don't think you can adapt. If they gotten a more obscure villain, no one would give a shit how much you botched him or her. |

Aside from Galactus I think the FF villains were relatively fine. Hoping they can do Galactus properly in the MCU at some point.

I have a feeling Morbius is one of those movies where everyone says it's the spawn of Satan, but in reality it's just meh.
Can't be worse than Kick-Ass 2 or Spider-Man FFH.........

Eh, I'd say Pete's Dragon remake was honestly Disney's best live action work in years but I'd agree that their animated films have been lacking quite a bit. As for Marvel, they have owned them since 2009 or so. So I wouldn't really say they're exactly "made by commitee". Granted they do get clunkers like MCU Spidey after Homecoming and Eternals, but they also get gems like Shang-Chi and Ms. Marvel. |

Also, The Monster Squad has to be one of the most overrated clunkers out there. Lame, underbaked, and coasts off the popularity of Goonies way too much. And a complete waste of the Gillman.
Why the hell that film has the fanbase it does is beyond me.

I was never the biggest fan of Blade Runner 2049, Dune is a lot better.
