I couldn't even finish the last one and hearing this kind of thing makes me glad I bailed. SWIA is full of hyperbole honestly. If you thought Kills was bad due to it being so over-the-top, you'll probably enjoy Ends more. It's more laid back in comparison and does something different than the usual dumb-hack-and-slash people criticized Kills for (and ironically, that's what the same fickle people slammed Ends for....) Definitely go in expecting something more like John Carpenter's Christine though than a sequel to Kills.

I bailed on Kills at the horrible townsfolk march or whatever you call it. It was crap.

I don't hate Kills honestly, it's really stupid but has some entertainment value. I HATE Ends with a passion, it has no redeeming qualities whatsoever as far as I'm concerned.

I bailed on Kills at the horrible townsfolk march or whatever you call it. It was crap. Well, there's no real scene like that. Except for at the climax where a lot of the townfolk comes out to see Laurie destroy Michael once and for all by throwing him in an industrial grinder but that's at the very end For the record, it does set up Haddonfield as a psuedo-villian of its own so there are moments annoying characters get their just deserts haha.

It's been a minute but I know there's some scene where they're all in a bar and then go marching like a scene from Beauty and the Beast and half of them kill each other. Wretched.

Yeah, they were a bunch of idiots...which made Michael dispatching them with ease at the end all the more fun LOL. One thing I have to laugh though at is how a bunch of older Halloween fans criticize Kills for having a bunch of idiots saying the original II was never that stupid............... This original II BTW:

Tarantino's bitching about the MCU does not deserve to be respected.
Unlike Scorsese, who just said his piece and moved on with it, he's just continuously bringing it up for no other reason other than to bitch more and peddle his lame book.
Probably upset that his buddy Weinstein ain't able to give him carte blanche for his films. Seriously, that much of a coincidence that he talked about retiring so soon after his boy Harvey got caught?

In retrospect, last year was certainly an underwhelming year for comic book flicks. IMO the only truly great one was The Batman. The rest range from enjoyable but flawed (Strange, Black Adam) to outright horrific (Thor 4, Morbius). This year is pretty much guaranteed to be better at least.

Last year was kinda mid for movies overall. I was checking my letterboxd and it's the least amount of movies I've watched in like a decade. 2012-2018 were a much better time for movies.
Also, DS2 > every other CBM released last year. It's a fun action filled 2 hours ride and I could rewatch it more than any of the others.

Morbius is not as horrific as everyone says it is. Not that good but it's no F4 Rise Of The Silver Surfer.
Also, fuck Sherlock Holmes A Game Of Shadows. That shit ruined the franchise.

Love Robert Downey Jr, but I don't buy his British accent.

The New Mutants did horror elements better than Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.

I agree, but they are still different types of horror, though. The New Mutants is more like a haunted house movie. While Doctor Strange 2 is more like a Astrophobia horror.

RRR > Midatar Oh hell yeah. Side note, but Ram Charan could make for a good Kraven...

Dafoe's Goblin is overrated as fuck.
A lame Jekyll and Hyde type take on him that also made him more Joker like.
I'm sorry but he was lame in the beginning.
Even with the whole "Osborn is a weakling who accepts evil regardless" defense for SM1, he lacks the arrogance that makes Goblin work.
And him being the main Goblin of the MCU now is a travesty.

The whole "SNYDER WAS KICKED OUT OF JUSTICE LEAGUE BY WB AND USED HIS DAUGHTER'S SUICIDE AS AN EXCUSE" narrative really doesn't make him look good.
So you're telling me Zack Snyder thought his shitty films were more important than helping his grieving family as his daughter took her own life?
Do......do you realize how much of a selfish piece of utter shit that makes him? Cares more about his "ahrt" than his own family? Dude deserves to get pissed on then!
I'm sorry, but if that is what happens then I am overjoyed at how he kept getting fucked over filmwise. Don't give me the "DIFFERENT WAYS OF GRIEVING" nonsense, if he's not gonna be there for his family and rather focus on his selfish self, then fuck him.
Honestly, not surprised that jackass has "fans" like this:

Ryan Reynolds made Deadpool his Black Adam before Dwayne Johnson did the same.
In terms of hijacking a comic character for his own ego.

Halloween Resurrection did not ruin H20.
H20 had to be at least decent to "ruin".
