I never want to undermine the hard work that goes into CGI, but so much craftsmanship has been lost due to the over-reliance of it that modern movies have.

The problem is that studios don't give VFX artists any time to spare. Like, in the past VFX work would be more laid back, and CGI movies weren't littered everywhere because of the time it took. Now that they managed to speed up the process, instead of hollywood sticking to the same amount of VFX orders as before, they've increased it along with the faster time to render the CGI. As such there are tons of CGI films and it's being stretched thin. If they just eased off on the amount of CGI movies (like make a few movies that don't really need CGI) then it'll ease the pressure and quality might improve.

Anyone who says Marvel's lost their way with the exception of NWH are just full of shit.
Now before anyone jumps on me saying I'm a MCU shill, I don't think everyone should be a BluBonnet. Marvel has made some clunkers recently. (FATWS in particular)
But to bitch and moan about Marvel "having shit stories that disrespect the characters" while bending over backwards over a memberberries fest with some of the worst writing in recent years and bringing Spidey down to the misery porn level of the latest comics?
Yeah, no. You're not a "defender of good stories", you're just a troll hopping on board a popular train and blindly riding it through until it crashes and burn.
You can dislike what Marvel does with a TV show and/or movie. Just don't be such a blatant hypocrite about it.

I think making Thor a complete dumbass in L&T is a lot worse than any plot point in NWH, but I do agree that the "MCU is dead" crowd is real annoying.

Batman Forever > Thor: Love and Thunder Agreed, on the sole reason that Forever is awesome.

I thought Space Jam 2 was entertainment as well. Felt like a celebration through the decades WB has been in Hollywood. However, the freestyle scene is CRINGE.

I find the Robin Williams Flubber movie to be better than the original movie it's remaking. I don't even know if it's popular or not to say this but whatever.

I'm aware Flubber is a remake, but if you were to look up the original, it doesn't look like a Flubber movie at all. I know Flubber is still in it, but it's not used as a gimmick in the original as far as I can tell.

I'm a bit biased since Robin Williams is a force to be reckoned with on the big screen.

Licence to Kill (1989) is way underrated. It's a fucking great Bond movie. My 4th favorite in the whole series.

Timothy Dalton seems like a very underrated James Bond as well. He said he would have continued playing Bond for another movie after, but they would have made him sign for a multi-film deal. Which is relevant to the recent news that signing up to play Bond for another 10 or 12 years is very daunting for actors.
