I don't even know what to say. It's gone to a point where I'm like, oh that's normal. And this is coming from someone who refuses to watch movies based on the Columbine High School shooting, so not trying to sound insensitive here. But yeah. I have no right answer here. All I will say is that, we can't normalize this.

I remember when my brother's friend got murdered while getting shot in the 90s. That still gets to me because I knew him and that could have been my brother if they all of a sudden didn't decide to switch sits. My nephew's uncle even got shot too there in the arm, but survived. But yeah, man. You never know when a massive shooting can happen.

The fear is that human nature being what it is, we will in time become desensitized to the point where we will become immune to it. "Oh look at this, another mass shooting...best change the channel". Then we forget about it and go back to our comfortable lives.
Oh yes, our degenerate politicians at election time claim they will take drastic measures to put a stop to it. Then they get elected and that's where it ends...right?

They only promise to fix it after it happens. In PA you do not have to report of your gun is lost or stolen.

IIRC there was a Stephen King book called Rage that was about a guy randomly killing people at his school for no real reason. I believe that book wasn't republished as much as his other works.

I just don't know what to say anymore. Shootings is way to common in the States.

I just don't know what to say anymore. Shootings is way to common in the States. It should not be, these things should be dealt with from top to bottom. Anyone involved needs to take a hit, including the people who made it possible for them to get the weapons. Human life needs to be held to more value than it is.

No one will do anything, and just wait for the next one.

The most anyone does here in the UK when something bad happens is people lay flowers down and light some candles, and the situation is debated on to hell and back in the media until they get bored and move on to the next piece of news to debate to death, and maybe occasionally the odd small charity will be opened to try to raise money to help prevent those sorts of things happening again, but it just happens again whenever it wants to anyway.

No one will do anything, and just wait for the next one. No, I agree. It's just this shit gets into some real US political bullshit.
