Only thing I heard was that he would want a more classic take on Superman like the comics he grew up with, he didn't much care for the version he portrayed.
But it seems Superman isn't the only role he's had issues with; The Witcher has been an entirely other can of worms.

Yes it seems he prefers to have his portrayal of the characters be more faithful to the source material, and has found himself at odds with the studios because of it, at least that is what it seems like.

I like that they've gone with Swamp Thing, which isn't really something that can be made "realistic", it would have to be more fantastical like the 90s Batman movies, rather than the more realistic takes of recent. In which case it would give a lot of hope towards potentially seeing fantastical villains such as Clayface that would be hard to translate realistically.
