Why the hell do I get Scream?!
Also dang, was not expecting a Giant Spider Invasion reference here.

My guess the reason is the Scream movies are usually set there and Hollywood is there, which makes sense since some of the characrters are movie fans.

Here's a better horror film roadmap of the US.

I don't get any of those since I don't live in the USA.

I got a DC movie. Seriously though, Swamp Thing is pretty self explanatory.

Okay, I have to bring this up, guess if you guys can tell what's wrong with this pic... Even though I already owned the Friday the 13th tincase collection, I bought the original again because it has extra seconds of Kevin Bacon's death scene.

Doesn't the tincase collection also have the uncut version? Think that's the same disc just repackaged seperatly. Might as well have gone for the 4K or spend the extra money on Shout's set.

No, the tincase edition doesn't have the uncut version of the original. That would make too much sense. Also would LOVE the 4K Shout Factory edition. Unfortunately, can't. That's too excessive for me. Its costly and don't have the room for it. I'm perfectly content with my Friday the 13th collection. The quality is good enough, has a ton special features, and I own some of the documentries. That's enough. I made this mistake with the Friday the 13th DVDs before, so no.

Just to be clear, nothing wrong to have everything at all. Because I know exactly how passionite horror fans are when it comes to collecting. Just talking about myself. I need to be in a different place in life to do things like that. Right now I'm trying not to own too much stuff right now because I have future plans for the house I live in and trying to save money right now.

The back cover says it includes the uncut release and all the Blu-Ray releases before the Shout set were just the uncut version: Also, the 4K and the Shout sets are different. Paramount released the first one on 4K later on afterwards, to some controversy over the color.

I keep coming back to Uncle Sam. I would say its a guilty pleasure, but I don't believe in guilty pleasures. The movie has some good kills, the best being the corrupt politician getting blown up with fireworks. The villain is creepy and I'm shocked he hasn't been made into an action figure. The cheery on top, is the great performance from Isaac Hayes.

Also very aware that the Shout/4K editions are different. Like I said, the quality on the tin case is good enough. MAYBE when my 4KTV set up is complete, I'll reconsider. That is if the boxset is still around by then. Or maybe I'll reconsider before that. We'll see. Like I said, too pricy and don't know where to put it.

The final destination franchise has some pretty horrific elements to it, quite underrated.

The Night Strangler Starting off my Halloween Horror Marathon for 2022, with a great one. In the sequel to The Night Stalker, Kolchak is back investigating a series of killings of exotic dancers committed by an Alchemist. Who needs the blood of women to keep himself immortal for 21 years.
a creepy film that starts as a serial killer film that slowly turns into a gothic horror story. The alchemist's underground lair in the remains of old Seattle is incredible. Darren McGavin is great as Kolchak, he really set the standard for investigators of the supernatural.
4/5
