The Irishman was overrated shite that lasted way too long. Hoping this one is different. Pointless having a longer runtime if the film is shit. It'll just be shit that lasts too long. Hopefully it's good and paced well though. We shall see.

Looks good, 3 hours and 26 minutes (!) is a bit daunting though.

Too short! The Irishman is longer.

Why is no one tearing this apart for costing 200 million? There is no way it makes that money back.

The notion seems to be that since this is an Apple co-production, they're mainly focused on awards and pushing their streaming service, and that the theatrical run is just bonus to them. Still kind of a double standard but whatever I'll probably see it this weekend, I've never actually seen a Scorsese film in theaters before. The runtime is a bit much, but I saw Avatar 2 (14 minutes shorter) twice in theaters so as long as this is paced well I'm up for it.

Marty does get crap by studios for his demands (specifically Disney and Warner Bros, which are two that Marty has beef with). This is why he is salty about superhero movies or franchise films in general.

Solid score for such a long runtime and heavy subject matter (seeing it tomorrow).

You know what, really considering seeing it tomorrow. Not today. Don't know why. I guess I don't feel like rushing myself. I had a runny nose and lack of sleep the last few days. But we will see. My friend said he wants to see it as well, but I don't know. He is really randon. It all fucking depends. We will see.

So does this mean there's "drama fatigue" and that the audience is sick and tired of these types of films now? Or has that always been BS film Bros been pulling out their ass to feel good.....I wonder.
