You would think by now people would realize that convenience stores have secretly cameras.

People can be real wankers, just how the world is unfortunately. Expecting everyone to be good and nice is just an ideology. I try to be as nice as possible to people I meet in the real world, I don't intentionally try to piss off anyone, unless it's online of course.

You would think by now people would realize that convenience stores have secretly cameras. There are cameras generally everywhere.

The thing I don't get about humanity is, we are suppose to be very social beings. But we kinda fuck over ourselves as well. Not just physically, but mentally as well.

Just an FYI cameras do not stop people. They can wear masks (covid masks anyone?). Not only that but speed cameras for traffic also. I've seen so many people going faster than the allowed speed limit in the early mornings on the motorways and don't give a shit about speed cameras. They all need to get fucked over but the police are more interested in hounding people who actually follow the rules, and the government is more interested in wasting money on shit like vaccines that don't work & kill people over setting up more speed cameras.

Since the beginning one person wants to be in charge. We are programed from an early age to compete with each other. We should be taught to work together.

You've watched the intro of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Not much has changed from that.

Social media enables a lot of it IMHO.

Social media enables a lot of it IMHO. I genuinely believe that the world would be a better place without social media.

I was alive before social media, internet and mobile phones. They were peaceful times.

It was peaceful times, but not sure if technology has anything to do with it.

Yeah it was more peaceful. No online nonsense or family falling out because they didn't give their facebook post a like etc, showing their true nature.

I feel like family fallouts happens when the family is too big. It's no one's fault. It is what it is. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that, oh, why should I be the one calling you? Why don't you can me for a change?

Family size doesn't matter. It's their real personality that shines through more online than it would IRL. I think technology has made people more arrogant.

I saw a meme on this on Twitter, but can't find it right now. It compared families from the 90s to todays. 90s families are foruced to be togethor. Today, there is is too much distance, due to social media and tech.

Precisely. Bonds between parents and children are made distant too. Some kids just sink into their phones instead of spending time and talking with their family. It creates social awkwardness, moreso than what there would be without technology.

Yeah. I try to reach out for my family, but it just comes off as awkward afterwards. Rather not communicate at all.
