My friends were all into Yu Gi Oh, but I wasn't. There are couple of reasons for that like I didn't want to go through the collecting monster cards again, and also they pulled a Dragon Ball Z and just released the sequel series or second season of Yu Gi Oh first. Which is why I had so many questions at first like, why Yugi and Seto have beef? Why does Yugi have dissociative identity disorder and nobody seems to question it? Why does Maximillion just come out of nowhere? I wanted some character development first with these characters before the big baddie shows up.
But yeah, later I found out that original Yu Gi Oh series wasn't released in the US at that time. Which explains why I felt things were missing when it first debuted here.

Yeah one of my friends MIGHT still have all his Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Not really sure because we're living in a time where everyone I know is constantly moving. So I don't know. I know he has all his Pokemon cards though since I've been taking care of them for him for awhile.

I have the first 4 Pokemon card sets complete, I'm just trying to fill out the sets that came after. Once I've done that I'll probably stare at them in glory for a week then sell them. Gotta make some bank.

The thing about Ash still being 10 is the fact that he still wants to be a "Pokemon master". I'm like, okay. Where are they going with that? I don't know. Maybe he is a Pokemon master now, but took decades if that's the case. But an element like that works better if the characters grows.

Yes it's already been out a while here in the UK. In fact I already have some of the cards from that McDonalds set. There's a total of 15 and it's called "Match Battle" from the Sword & Shield series.
