As many of you may already know, Marvel spoilers is becoming problematic. Whether it's idiots that reveal things before anyone else have gotten chance to see it (I'm looking at you Twitter), to people that go full on rage mode thinking that everything is a spoiler. I admit, Multiverse of Madness was very tricky to talk about. Like when I hinted a year ago that they not going to hide a certain telepath in the trailers. And I was right, but still got crap for it anyway. There's going to be more multiverse stories in Phase Five. I suspect Ant-Man 3, Deadpool 3, Loki: Season Two will have multiverse elements as well. There are others, but I'll just leave it that for now, lol! Thankfully we don't have this problem with Thor: Love and Thunder. Not even the scoopers can spoil it.

It's pretty easy really.
Any actor or character special appearance.
Any character death.
Any unique, unexpected moments in a movie that a fan would be thrilled about, IE Cap with Mjolnir.

That's why Multiverse of Madness was tricky. I haven't revealed none of that. The certain telepath is probably the closest, but it's not like I gave context. Like, why is he there, who is playing him (actually this one is debatable, lol), and what happens after. As long as you don't know the context, it's not much of a spoiler. Especially since Marvel revealed the telepath anyway in the trailers and didn't even hide him in the premier like they did with Andrew and Tobey.

No you didn't spoil that. It was extremely stupid of them to put him in the trailer.

Feige said that the trailer showed to much. I think he will be adding marketing to his list of things.

Multiverse of Madness should have been advertised as a Strange vs. Wanda movie, which it is. Instead they focused too much on the cameos, even though there is a logical reason for all the cameos. It isn't cameos for the sake of cameos like people been worrying about.

It isn't cameos for the sake of cameos like people been worrying about. They should have left the cameos out, it should have just been about Strange screwing up the mulitverse.

I don't know. That's like saying they should have kept The Avengers out of Civil War. Sure you can make the argument, but you can also make the same argument with pretty much any MCU project. But we'll get more into it over the weekend. Don't want to give too much away.

I meant out of the marketing.

I blame the pandemic. Marvel money isn't as consistent as it use to be, so Disney were probably pressured to give away some of the cameos.

Black Widow, Eternals, and to an extent Shang-Chi suffered because of the pandemic. But No Way Home and Strange will show that MCU is still in fine shape.

That's actually a bad thing. The movies where people already know about cameos and multiverse characters seem to make the most. Thus, encouraging studios to reveal a lot in the trailers.

I consider spoilers to be elements of a movie that haven't been shown in the marketing prior to release, that are actively being leaked online anywhere and everywhere after the movie releases, usually during the period where people are still waiting for their showtime.

Sorry if my posts come off at as spoiler-ish lately, guys. There was a scoop round-up recently and trying to keep this place busy as much as I can. But no, I don't think I revealed anything spoiler-ish. Might have fuck'd up on accidently revealing Ms. Marvel's backgrounds. I don't know. Just like the Professor X shit, I knew Marvel was going to reveal that anyway. But no, I take spoilers seriously, so I don't think I revealed anything spoiler-ish. Thankfully, round-ups happens just once in awhile.
