Again it's the big two's fault for driving away customers with over-priced, unreadible garbage books with 50 different covers.

I just wish people would give other books a chance like they do with other games. We are at a point where we are going to lose a lot, and have no way to replace it. The direct market is broken, yet it is fixable. For an indie creator news stand distribution is a no go. Others have tried the Walmart thing and it failed.

What is working the direct-to-customer, crowd funding market. Depends on who's running the campaign.

More people will potentially see my book in stores then they will online. Reaching every single person that could potential purchase your book is hard. 2. Some comic shops will not embrace the crowdfunding model. I told them they should invite it and even take orders for them in the shop. It is just another method for distribution.

It's sad that won't embrace something that can save the industry.

Some stores are fine with it. One store owner specific messaged me about how he would never allow Crowdfunded books in his store.

The pop thing last longer than I thought would. They brought nearly every IP in sight. That worked for awhile. They then oversaturated the market.

Just got word on another shop closing. I know people are unhappy with Marvel and DC, yet there are 1000's of other things to try. Give them a go, so people do not have to lose their dreams.
