Two things I noticed with that featurette. 1. Like the initial start-up of the website, the Morbius writers Sazama/Sharpless are not credited on the film at all: I have a feeling that they may have wrote an initial draft for the film but said draft was trashed after the response of "Intriguing...." and only credited because weird WGA rules. The most infamous example of odd WGA rules is probably Scary Movie with crediting Friedberg/Seltzer despite them not working on the actual film at all. 2. Julia's surname is Cornwall and not Carpenter: Not that critical story wise, but a pretty cool detail considering it was Julia's maiden name before marrying Larry Carpenter.

Well, they sure nailed the look and feel of a 2003 movie

That is so vague. Also this is coming from the EW, not a scooper. A scooper will tell you exactly what is going on. Where as EW is only told what Sony told them to say.

Just read what Jeff Sneider had to say. Basically Madame Web is "stand-alone" in the sense that Sony can't make up their mind whether Baby Peter should Andrew Garfield's or Tom Holland's. So Sony is making things up as they go along. Sony is gonna Sony.

I'm sure all these Sony movies were greenlight in the CBM craze era, sadly now it will bomb.

Especially his BS about "ADREW WAS GONNA BE MAIN SPIDEY ADN TOOM AS BACKUP" when Tom was always planned to be the SSU's Spidey as far back as Venom.

But that doesn't make sense because Tom's Spidey is in the MCU. Even though I heard leaks/rumors that Tom's Spidey will be sent and get stuck in the SSU in Secret Wars.

The original plan was to have the SSU be side-canon to the MCU like Agents Of SHIELD. Hence the Vulture appearence in inital Morbius trailers.

No, the original plan was to have a Sinister Six movie, and look how that turned out. Don't get me wrong. I'm looking forward to Madame Web. But lets be honest, Sony keeps changing their minds.

No, the original plan was to have a Sinister Six movie And this couldn't be side-canon to the MCU...how again? These changes were completely changed by the time the new Sony deal was done anyway.
