I'm reading The Auctioneer by Joan Samson right now, good god is it good. It's a masterclass in building dread.

The Nest is so better than movie based on it and way more gorier as well. Night Blood is Rambo in Salem's Lot and is fun as it sounds. When Darkness Loves Us and Black Ambrosia are genuinely scary.

I've recently read and finished:
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Will be starting Tolkien's Children of Hurin over the next week which is my very next book.

Trying to finish the last book in the Witcher series. I think that I had too high expectations on this book series.

I've just finished a few books in succession:
J.R.R. Tolkien's The Children of Hurin Ted Hughes The Iron Giant (The Iron Man) Todd Strasser Jumanji
I've currently just started the 1979 novelization of the movie Alien by Alan Dean Foster (The book is pretty old now). I heard it has elements in it that don't appear in the movie, so I had to try it. After that I've got an old novelization of the 1989 Batman movie to read, and after that a novelization of the Assassin's Creed movie. After that I'm all out of books that are unread, until I visit some flea markets and grab some more off of my "to obtain" list.

Just finished the Batman 89 novelization (which surprisingly has all the elements in it that people recall seeing in the movie that aren't there in the "mandela effect" where people recall seeing joker money and people getting angry that the money was fake in the movie, yet apparently it never existed.. is all written in the novelization. Even the ending is different to the movie where in the movie Joker takes Vicki hostage, but in the book Batman and Joker are alone in the cathedral).
Also finished the Assassin's Creed movie novelization. So I am out of books for now until I hunt down some more from my list of ones to get.

After getting to a flea market recently, I was able to find and pick up Blade Runner: Eye and Talon. This is the 3rd Blade Runner book in a series of 3 sequel books to the original Blade Runner/Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? story. Now I just need to find the first two of the sequel books and then I can dive back into that world.

I've just started reading Night Of The Demon by Brad Carter and I'm nine chapters in. Encase you're wondering, yes it's based on the 80s Bigfoot movie.

I read a lot, currently on -
Kalashnikovs and Zombie Cucumbers: Travels in Mozambique, by Nicholas J. Middleton.
Empire of Light by Gary Gibson. π
The Dalkey Archive by Flann O'Brien π
The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.
The Brightonomicon by Robert Rankin. π
Some awful PHD proposal, author and title forgotten after the first paragraph.
Some rereads there, I have a large personal library.

Finally finished the last book in the Witcher series. I'm gonna give those away. Decent books, but it's not something I want to read again.

Finished reading the Night Of The Demon novel, it was good. It really expanded the whole idea of a backwoods cult worshiping Bigfoot as some sort of god.

Just started reading "The Exiled Heir" of the Autumn Fall Saga by Jonathan French. The same author that wrote The Grey Bastards, The True Bastards and The Free Bastards.
So it's fantasy / grim dark.

I've started reading the Doc Savage pulp magazine. The first story in it, Fortress of Solitude. It's really fun.
