Well, this isn't the first sport that has had deaths. Formula One racing, boxing etc etc. Everything comes with a risk. However, the second video I posted has the guy who founded the sport, and there are certain regulations and rules he puts in place. For example there are foul moves that you can't make and such.. like lifting/moving your feet in the swing because that gives the swing deadly power, so having that in place lessens the damage.

Dude, it's not just the deaths this crap has caused, you've seen the guy in the thumbnail. The man looks like he got kicked in the head by a horse and that just from a regular match. The CTE these poor dumb basters are giving is going to end horrible. And don't give me that it's the same for other combat sports. Wrestlers are trained to take bumbs and other hard impacts. Boxers and MMA fighters are trained in the same way and have protective gloves to soften their punches. I have not seen protection being used for the competitors safety in this madness. |

This sport also has trainers, to train competitors, some of whom are ex wrestlers/fighters/boxers etc. Nobody is forcing you to like the sport however.
