So all the video changes have been completed and I've just finished the subtitles. We are just going to check over the entire thing now, and if we find no issues, then we're just going to combine the subtitles with the video making it a single MKV file, ready for January.

Alright, it's finally ready. To celebrate the year of the 40th Anniversary of The NeverEnding Story, I have helped work on creating an extended edition of the movie using all the best quality footage of the extended German edition. I won't list all of the changes made, just the ones I personally have done: - Remastered a blue color graded shot of the AURYN from a 4K 35mm theatrical trailer transfer that was not present in the final release of the movie. - 2 dialog lines of Gmork have had to be severely altered to sound exactly like the voice of the rest of Gmork's dialog, as these are extended lines not in the original, and the voice sounds completely different in the German version. - After bastian screams the Empress' new name, the scene changes and the opening shot is of The Empress' hand glowing. Across all versions of the movie, this shot has very poor framing and as a result has awful black borders along the outer edges, and had a strange lens flare. I have removed the awful borders and removed the lens flare in this shot to match the rest of the movie, editing each individual frame (just under 400 frames). - Provided isolated audio of dialog and soundtrack to allow the extended dialog of the Empress in the Ivory Tower to play without issues. - Pointed out a few dialog differences between older cuts and the German cut, and isolated them and had them added back in, including Urgl's Vitamin line when she injects Falkor. - Created a subtitle file that captions every bit of dialog, including dialog that can barely be heard or has not been previously captioned by older official subtitles, as a result you may be surprised by some things which are said that may not have been heard/caught before. I also found out that in the VHS/DVD versions of the movie, the closed captions have Gmork's lines in Green, so I replicated that, and in the same spirit I also made the Southern Oracle's lines Blue.

The video file has been updated, I had to fix more of the Bastian/Empress shot that had the poor framing, by re-doing the right most side and trying to prevent the dark flickering on Bastian's arm where the lens flare used to be. I'm still in the process of downloading this new version to check if my latest changes look good (MEGA says I've got to wait 5 hours as I've exceeded my transfer quota and I ain't paying them so I'll wait for free to finish the download).

Downloaded, only to find the other guy helping on the edit uploaded the subtitles in the wrong format, so it's being re-uploaded with proper subs.
