So fucking tired of my laptops having a short life span. I get that corporations set these laptops to fail eventually. But God dammit! At least give me 4 or 5 years. -_-

Just bought a new laptop. Should arrive in 2 days. It is from brand call Lenovo. I don't hear much from, but hearing nothing but positive things about them. Going to avoid Dell and HP for awhile. Those brands failed me multiple times.

Toshiba are usually a fairly decent brand depending on the model.

Asus has been pretty good for me, at least their gaming series laptops.

Nah. I think it is a good thing having two laptop. I can take of the newer one that way. Besides, it's also good having one for work and one for entertainment purposes.

Liking my new laptop so far. My only nitpick though is the picture quality. It's not bad, but it is not as dynamic as the Dell or HP ones. So if I had to stream, I'd probably be switching laptops.

Yeah swap them around then. Use the better screen for gaming/streaming, use the other for work/studies whatever.

Now remember what happened with your old laptop. Have you tried plugging it in? If your electric socket sucks it may not be the cable or laptop.

I figured out the problem. Unlike my old laptop, the problems with my new one is clearer. Basically my charger wire is a bit torn. It is so torn that when I stared to play around with it that I almost got electrocuted. I was like, FUCK. This is most likely due to having the charger in an awkward position. Wonder if that's what happened with my old laptop as well. But again, it is not that obvious with my old laptop's charger. But the patterns tell me it the chargers.
Anyway, bought a new charger for my new laptop. It will arrive tomorrow. If everything goes well, I'll bite the bullet and buy a new charger for my old laptop.
