Amazon's Jack Reacher series is crap. I haven't gotten around to watching it yet but that certainly is an unpopular take. What did you not like? So many aspects of the plot are nonsensical to me and the dialogue is horrible. I'm guessing fans don't really care about any of that and just want the escapism of a huge guy kicking ass. Nothing wrong with that, but so many times the decisions of the characters made so little sense to me, it took me right out of it. I'd rather watch the Jack Ryan series on Amazon. |

I also didn't like Peacemaker very much, even though I love The Suicide Squad.

No science fiction or fantasy show will ever be as good as the best "realistic" show. I love Trek, it's in my name. But no Trek ever will surpass the quality of The Wire. No Star Wars will ever be better than Breaking Bad or Six Feet Under.

I'm up for watching stuff like that for a laugh but not if it's gonna try and tell me it's telling a dark serious story that's important for kids today.......Go peddle your crap soap somewhere else. .............................................Wait it's from A24? I think best time would be to catch up now before the final season is out. First two seasons are slow burn but the acting is top notch! Especially from Rhea Seehorn. |
