It's at a point where it has became trickier tell if the people over the phone are being genuine or not. Any good ways to found out?

When ever I get a scam call, I either convince them I'm dead they talking to a ghost, or if I can't be assed to fucking with them. I tell them I in a cave.

If it's not a friend/family or someone who you're expecting a call from, then hang up.

That's what I do, but when someone tried to call me about the mortgage, I ignored it because I thought it was a scam. Turns out they were legit I guess, and was a PAIN IN THE ASS to try and reached them back. At the end of the day, we didn't need them. Pisses me off about the mortgage, they make things so fucking complicated for no fucking reason. It's only when I started to get angry it became simple. Almost like they were pretended to be stupid all along or something. -_-

They are trying to force you into a situation to get more money out of you. Just like Sprint, when I found out I could lower my bill and get more features. They are not going to tell you how to save money.

If people can figure out a way to get more money you can bet they'll try it until it stops working.

These people deserve the death that was awaiting them.

Man, I feel like an asshole turning down cancer donations, but you can't trust these motherfuckers. Scammers have been calling me like almost 20 times a days. It's getting ridiculous.

Even advertisements of charities asking for donations I feel are just daylight robbery/legal scams, I'm talking TV adverts showing footage of people struggling or kids crying. At the end of the day, does the money REALLY go to those who the advert claims it would help? Look, these advertisements have been around since the 1970s, and you mean to tell me that nothing has changed in over 40 fucking years? At some point you've got to wonder: do they even really need the help or is it just going to some guys bank account to get richer?
Doesn't help that these adverts don't appear regularly, they only bother to appear mostly during Christmas, so obviously they aren't that desperate for help, on top of that you get adverts like salvation army to help homeless people, yet our government allows immigrants to be put up in hotels and pays them weekly to stay there and feeds them, but they wouldn't dare do that for our own homeless people. Even then, there are "homeless" people that sit out in the street begging for spare change/money and you can't know if that homeless person isn't just a scammer themselves, someone who actually does have a home but is trying to get extra money without doing anything to earn it.
And then you've got comedians like Lenny Henry that says African people don't need help. Must be a funny joke, almost as funny as the world trying to help their ungrateful asses for over 40 years in perpetual futility because they still begging.
