Every few days I am seeing comic shops close. In the 90's we went from 10,000+ to somewhere around 2500. Some of this is on the ownership trusting a few sources for books. There are a lot of options out there and some of them are afraid to step out of the comfort zone to save their stores.
So if you have not been in awhile please hit up your local stores and show them some support.

One of the comic shops I frequent focus on selling comics. Granted it's all back issues. The rest are selling toys and other things along with comics. That's what they do to survive. Not that's a bad thing, as long as the shop as plenty of space for everything they're selling. One shop that I go to has a space problem.

Yeah Funko and Cards are taking over. The problem is staking the shelves with items that do not sell.

I've never been to one in my entire life. Only a store that sells books but those are not comics.

I've been to one before. We had one in my neighborhood, but it's closed down. Now I have to go all the way to the otherside of the city to go to a comic store. Not saying it's not worth it, but it's difficult to bring myself to go that far. Especially since they already sell comics at Barnes & Noble's. I know it's not the same, vut still.

I probably would've gone to one, should one have ever existed where I live, which they simply don't.
