This is where people need to start pushing the good and let the bad circle the drain. Well right now, there's so much bad that it's clogged the drain and everything is getting drenched in the backwash. The comic book news sites are trying to put a positive spin on Aftershock going under. People are going to lose their jobs and others are owed a lot of money, some are owed 18 grand. There is no positive to this. |

Just saw the list of people they owe money to. I know a bunch of them.
I think that Ambassador program was good for them and might have done them in.

It's come out that Heavy Metal magazine is behind paying people now. The comic book industry is f'ed.
Aside from all the unsellible crap that companies churn out. It's these small businesses that pray on creators with false opatunites for their stuff to become the next Ninja Turtles, Walking Dead and The Boys. Only for the company to go out of business leaving the creators with fuck all to show for it.

There's rumours going around that DC are not paying their creative teams the full amount of the comic they're working on, if it's a tie-in to an event. The people working on the main event book are getting half of what the other teams are due.

Vinegar Syndrome is getting into publishing comics by teaming up with Eibon Press. vinegarsyndrome.com/pages/vinegar-syndrome-publishingEibon made comics based on cult and horror films that were a pain in the ass to get. So I'm looking forward to this as some of the stuff they made looks bloody amazing!    |

As a fan of TMNT, really want to read Ronin. Really such an interesting concept. Doubt Paramount will adapt Ronin, though. They are too obsessed with making TMNT for kids.
