Leaning a bit more positive after viewing 2, despite the number of flaws, it's a pretty enjoyable ride.
(However, if this was the same movie but without Kamala, it would be mid)

This really feels like something Fox/Sony would have released pre-MCU. I don't know how Feige and Co. are losing touch with what made MCU the MCU. That being said, I didn't hate the movie. It is always the same. Something becomes popular, and non-creatives have ideas they want to include. The same thing was happening before, yet there was less movies so less chance of outside influencers. They need to show those people the door, and Feige needs to play goalie with the creatives. |

I didn't watch the "final trailer" from last week until after I saw the film. WTF was that? Talk about false advertising. Trying to paint Dar-Benn as the new Thanos with those stitched-together lines. Thanos probably wouldn't even agree with her methods or paper-thin motivation! Also trying to hide Kamala in the trailer, when she is the heart and soul of the film, and the glue that holds it together. Like Disney execs started thinking, "this girl ain't gonna sell tickets, gotta include Tony, Steve and Thanos instead because memberberries!"

Now that I think about it, Iman Vellani reminds me a LOT of one of my cousins. Looks and personality wise. I didn't see her in like 10 years, so that didn't pop into my head before.
