This is playing in my local theater. Noticed it when I went to go see Renfield. I'm debating myself whether I should see it this week or not.

Still debating. Because I rather go see Evil Dead Rises instead this week. I trust Makoto Shinkai enough to blind buy this on Blu-ray at full price day one. However, I hear from some people this is not playing in their local theater, even people from freaking LA. Yet, this is playing in my local theater. So it is very tempting that I can get to say I've seen this in theaters. Still highly considering it.  |

I've heard a lot of good things about this. People saying they prefer it over Weathering With You but still find Your Name to be better. So sounds like a solid entry. I'd say go see it. Heck bask in the glorious 2D animation at least!

Doesn't have to be better than Your Name. Being better than Weathering With You alone should be enough to convince anyone to buy a ticket.
