It's funny because it is true. Flordia is infested with gators.

As long as there's an option to play as an Alligator that'll be fine, driving a ferrari down the beach as an alligator.

Never heard of him. And I don't care either.

The popularity boost in the Tom Petty song is something to behold as well.

Shame he's no longer with us, but it seems his song will now be immortalized.

Imagine trying to sell yourself up against one of the most anticipated video games in history. I suppose it is no coincidence that her hair is blonde.

Quite a few folks thinking this is the first ever GTA female protagonist despite the fact you can choose from multiple female characters in the first GTA game, which covered all 3 cities, Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City. It was also possible to play as a female in GTA Online as well but hey ho.

Odd that people forgot about that.

Probably folks who haven't played the older games and only got involved with GTA V or maybe IV. I used to play GTA 2 and the first GTA on PS1. I was playing as a female on the streets of Vice City back in the early 2000s. However, most of my time was spent on GTA 2 until I got a PS2 and that meant GTA 3, VC and SA.
Although, if GTA 1 was to be remade today, it'd have to include all 3 cities in 1 game, being able to travel between them. Needless to say it would be much bigger than GTA V and GTA VI.
I don't see what else they could do for a 7th GTA game, aside from remaking the GTA 2 maps.

GTA 7 is probably not going to happen until I'm 50. Like, FUCK. Because it looks like they put EVERYTHING into this damn game. They did went to London in one of the older GTA PS1 games. I remember New Orleans was rumored once. Problem is, New Orleans is not that big of city. Everything here feels tight. Hitman and Infamous already explored that city anyway. Maybe Brazil!? But I don't know. I don't think many Americans care. Vice City feels like Brazil KINDA anyway.

Rockstar won't be making games outside of the USA, so aside from combining all 3 cities into 1 game like GTA 1, the only other game is GTA 2 that has fictional cities set in the USA that haven't been remade at all yet. Only other options are to remake GTA London and be forced to change their stance on what they said, or come up with a new USA state/city not previously seen in any GTA game.

Actually that's not accurate, the HD Universe hasn't actually adapted San Fierro or Las Venturas yet, and there's also the setting of the game Manhunt, Carcer City, that is referenced in the game. In fact it was said that the blocked off tunnel in Shoreside Vale in GTA 3 was meant to lead to Carcer City. And Michael mentions Carcer City in GTA V, so it is a viable location too. So San Fransisco, Las Vegas, Carcer City, or GTA 2's Anywhere City.

Yeah but what do those cities offer that is really different? GTA already been to the west coast a few times.

There's Carcer City, which is based on Detroit and Flint, Michigan; Camden, New Jersey; East St. Louis with Chicago, Illinois; and Gary, Indiana. So that's different from other GTA games.
Then there's GTA 2's Anywhere City, which isn't based on any particular real life city, but is a fictional US retro futuristic metropolis. So sort of like Cyberpunk 2077's setting.
