Yep, the Empire actually feels threatening again in this. Meanwhile the Obi-Wan show made them seem like buffoons other than Vader.

Oh God, that cliffhanger. This is going to be a long 2 years. I'm pretty excited for Mando to come back, but this leaves me wanting more Andor above all else.

This show when it was first announced felt pointless to me, and the trailers did little to sway me. However, with people saying it's great I figured "Hey, I should put aside my bias, and give it a go". So I have.
Sad to say it is still pointless to me. I wanted to permanently stop watching once episode 2 finished, but I kept on going hoping something good would happen. Eventually got to episode 6 where the first cool thing happened (the colored night sky) but that was about it, it was still lackluster and rather boring like the rest of the show up to that point. Finally got to episode 11 after more boring filler in between and got another cool moment with the ship scene near the end of the episode, my one complaint with it being THAT part was too short; after sitting through so much boring dreck I would have at least wanted the cool parts to last longer but alas it was not to be. Then Episode 12 was just more boredom to the end.
Also that title logo for "Andor" is way too fucking slow for its own good. Speed it up at least. Opening scrolls to the movies were quicker (I jest).
Overall it's a show that lacks any iconic characters and very few alien looking people/creatures (there are some but it's few and far between), combine that with very few iconic ships at all and even fewer iconic story plots, along with scenes lasting way too long of people just talking and we've got season 1 of Andor.
Aside from 2 cool but short and pointless moments this show was a bust. But if it entertained others then it has achieved what it set out to do, and that's all one can ask for when it comes to Star Wars.
Needless to say I will be skipping on any further seasons, but at least I gave it a fair attempt all round. But then I knew it wasn't for me beforehand from the trailers, it wasn't really a character that interested me enough (a pretty fucking boring one from Rogue One where the best characters in that were a digital Tarkin and Vader) and a cast of mostly human characters just talking.
One thing I did notice with this show is the camerawork more-so than anything. They seem to over-use this "holding camera in hand" style, where the camera gives off the wobble of a cameraman trying to hold the camera. Guess they should've been manufacturing more camera tripods in that jail compound, because they certainly lacked throughout the episodes.

Well, I've been honest and that's about as much as I can do. But I am happy that others have enjoyed it! That is a good thing. I'll stick with Boba Fett and Mando. Mando has a dope ship and two now iconic characters, and I also got Boba Fett riding a fucking Rancor! Cool shit that this show lacks.

Considering finishing Andor today. We'll see. Have to start all over, though. Because I forgot what happened in episode 3. Better to just start all over.

Rewatched the first two episodes the other day. Not sure if this show has replay value. Anyway, going to watch episode 3 and 4 later on today. Well, I already seen episode 3, but forgot it because I was drunk.

Alcohol is a requirement to finish this show.

I've watched the whole thing twice, I love it, although maybe the Mon Mothma scenes later on didn't have to be there.

Sorry. The Last of Us and other things got in the way. Made it half way, though. Will finish soon.
