Charity store provided me with the novelization of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (which I've fast tracked and am reading it now, afterwards I begin episodes IV, V and VI). Exchange store I was able to buy some games I was wanting:   Although predictably, the save feature for Ages isn't working, so I can't save my progress since the battery inside is dead. Now I could order and solder a new battery in it; I have the tools to do it, but instead I'll take it back to the exchange store as they give a 24 month warranty on items and will fix any issues within that time frame. So I'll just get them to do it for free, then I'll probably play that till the end and that would complete my tri-force of gameboy Zelda games. |

Went to get the battery solved but they didn't have the right battery to solder into the Zelda game so they will email me once their order of proper ones have arrived, but while I was in town I treated myself to an early christmas present:  The most powerful wand in the entire wizarding world! Been wanting one of these for a long time so glad to finally have one, from The Noble Collection (the best kind). |

Went to a bunch of charity stores and got a few things. Wallace & Gromit figures (late 80s/early 90s), 5 figures; Preston the Cyber Dog, Wallace in slippers, Wallace holding a basket and a cheese cracker, Shaun the Sheep and Gromit. I've been trying to keep an eye out for a Gameboy Action Replay Xtreme Pokemon Crystal Special Edition, but these devices are rare, I can't find one on online sites to buy, and when they are available, they are expensive as hell, or in another country where the postage is astronomically high (and the sellers must be high if they think I am paying that much). However after some research I've found that a Gameboy Blaze Xploder Lite works with Pokemon Crystal (which is the only reason I wanted a cheat device), so I've bought one:  It was relatively cheap. I required this cheat device in order to beat Pokemon Crystal 100%. The game itself had been patched so glitches from the older Pokemon games don't work, except for the clone glitch but I have found that difficult to pull off successfully every time. Plus with it I can use gameshark codes to enable the Celebi event. I could beat the game legit if I had a second Gameboy console and a game-link cable, as I own all of the other Pokemon games and I could easily trade over the pokemon that I require from the other games I've already beaten for a full Pokedex, however it is cheaper for me to get the cheat device, plus it allows me to have some fun with other games I've got as well.  |

So that Xploder cheat device I bought, didn't come with a protective case, and so I've gone and bought a tin for it:  It already has the X on it for Xploder, and the cartridge fits inside the tin perfectly. |
