My man! He totally gets it! I've been saying for awhile now that his Cajun accent in the movie is exaggerated, but people not from Louisiana don't get it when I say that. Not saying people in Louisiana don't sound like that, but you have to look deep in the bayou for it. Like, southwest Louisiana. Gambit, however, is from southeast Louisiana (New Orleans). Meaning, he should have more of a Yat accent. A Yat accent sounds more like a New York acccent than Cajun. Anthony Mackie pretty much agrees as well... |
