Finally went and saw this a 2nd time today. I enjoyed it a bit more this time, perhaps the at times fast pace and everything going on was a little overwhelming at first, but fully knowing what to expect made the 2nd viewing more enjoyable. It won't win any awards for its rather thin main plot, but it's executed with such earnestness, and Reynolds and Jackman are at their A-game, that it makes this one of the most entertaining movies of the year.

It's a 2 star movie though? I suggest changing that accidental vote, looking at the poll voters, it was NOT Mike.

You seem to like this more than the first two. Nothing wrong with that, but interesting how each of us tolerate Deadpool's humor differently at times. Deadpool seems more annoying in this one than in the first two movies, which leans more towards the comics anyway since Deadpool's morels are suppose to be kinda all over the place. This was probably done to justify Wolverine's anger and abuse towards Deadpool.

I prefer Deadpool 2 over this overall but having Wolverine in this definitely helps.

Yeah I agree that Deadpool 2 has a better story. Better shot action scenes too. I need more time to let things sink in first and rewatch them both before I decide which I think is best.

Oops! It was me! I accidently gave it a 2/5. I SWEAR, I could have sworn I gave it a 4/5, though.

This is still probably my least favorite of the trilogy, but the first 2 set a high bar.

A lot of people really like the first one the most. Which I get why, but people kinda downplay the things the sequels got better.

The first one is overrated af, legit expected SWIA was the 2 star voter for this.

Pretty sure I gave it a positive review initially, even if I had a few quibbles. I asked who it was a few times and Cyber kept saying it wasn't him, even though it's easy to tell what your vote is just by looking at the poll. Deadpool 2 (theatrical) > Deadpool > Deadpool 2 (extended) > Deadpool & Wolverine

I wouldn't say the original is overrated per se. I just fail to see any valid arguements on why it is better. People keep comparing the sequels to the first Deadpool movie. By that logic, The Avengers isn't as good as the first Iron Man movie. Its like, who cares!? It is like comparing apples to oranges.

Deadpool 2 (Theatrical Cut) > Extended Cut > Once Upon a Deadpool
I didn't think the Extended Cut of Deadpool 2 was as smooth. The finishing touches done in the theatrical cut is an improvement, if anything. Once Upon a Deadpool was a fun idea, but diminishes the impact of Deadpool 2's story. Not because it was PG-13 per se, but mostly cause of the editing and tone shifts. It just felt a tad bit distracting seeing the Fred Savage scenes in the middle of Deadpool 2's story.
