I've read this character in the comics and she's a big fat nothing. After reading the issue she was in, I completely forgot that she exits.
All these spins off are not going to do anything. People want Spider-Man in their Spider-Man.

The rights to Spider-man are confusing mess. Not really the rights to Spidey himself, but it's mainly his supporting characters that are confusing AF For example, Sony owns Kingpin because he debuted in Spider-Man. Marvel seemingly can't use him unless he's in something related to Daredevil, which is how and why Michael Clarke Duncan played him in the 2003 DD film. However Frank Castle is somehow separate from all of those despite him also starting out in a Spidey comic and honestly having less appearances than Wilson Fisk........ And don't get me started on Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman .. I've read this character in the comics and she's a big fat nothing. After reading the issue she was in, I completely forgot that she exits. All these spins off are not going to do anything. People want Spider-Man in their Spider-Man. I mean, you could have Silk be her own thing at the very least. Though considering she was initially introduced by Slott to try and have Peter bang anyone else but Mary Jane Watson, I'd say there's room to expand on her. Besides, if anyone could do it, it's Lord and Millar. They basically did the same with Miles Morales in ITSV anyway. No one really cared about him before the movie. Now everyone can't wait for him in the MCU. |

Now everyone can't wait for him in the MCU. The thing with Miles is that he was lighting in a bottle that came about because they killed off the ultimate version of Peter. He was successful for a little while, then brought him into the 616 universe. Since then Marvel has been trying to get that success again and again. Each time they keep failing. Skill is part of that, but alot less successful. As in no cares about this 7th version of Spider-woman. As I said Miles was lighting in a bottle and lighting in a bottle can't be couat twice. |

Gonna be honest, think I'd side with Miguel in Across The Spider-Verse. We've already seen what would happen to a universe if a canon event gets broken. I feel like if Jeff was told about his death having to happen lest an entire universe be destroyed slaughtering trillions of people, he'd understand and go through with it.
May also have to do with the fact that Miguel is probably the best character in the movie and probably one of the best Antagonists in CBMs period.
