This fan made Rick & Morty anime intro makes that "official" anime look like complete and utter shit with no real work or love being put into it.

A) That anime teaser looks like ass on a drawing style level. My past post here showing how a fan-made Rick & Morty anime still looks infinitely better. Inagine keeping the same drawing style as the regular show and calling it an "anime". Honestly, I think I'd rather have an AI generate a better looking anime than that "non-anime" they are trying to push.
B) I don't know why the fuck they insist on pushing out the creator of the show when he's apparently innocent. But whatever.

I stopped watching Rick and Morty to be honest. It's just that "adult" animated shows don't catch my attention for very long.

I like the show, but I have never quite grown accustomed to the art style. If you look it up "generic cheap animated sitcoms" it always has this art style that rick & morty uses. There are quite a lot of shows that have come out using similar art styles that just don't go anywhere, wind up being cancelled forever.
The fact that they thought it was a brilliant idea to simply keep the exact same generic art style that the entire show uses to make an "anime" and call it an anime, is a joke and even an insult to actual animes. Sure there might be some interesting anime style transitions and/or music but the characters still look the same, they don't look like real anime characters. To put it simply, it is anime in name only.

Yeah I use to say American animation is lazy compared to Japanese anime. Truth is, Hollywood want these shows to be made cheaper and faster. As for anime, I heard it is a nightmare to work on. Because anime has such detail animation.

Anime is a gruelling project, a lot of artists in japan do it out of passion and love for it. Even mangas can take months or years between volumes.
Take this Dua Lipa music video as an example:
Just from looking at it you can tell it has anime art style. Effort was put into it. It is a far cry from whatever that Rick & Morty anime is.
They could've hired the artist behind this music video to help with the Rick & Morty anime project. I think what makes it worse is that it has potential to be fantastic, yet it is in such a poor state right now.
Although I am curious if they've even got scripts for the next season, with the writers strike and all that.
