People complain all the time about there being a lack of original content. Well here's some. Eat up fuckers!

Well in that case, I might as well just wait for the directors cut to release and watch that version. No use wasting money on seeing an incomplete version earlier.

Would be kinda funny if this turns out better than anything Star Wars related from the Disney era.

If so Disney might just end up kicking themselves for turning the pitch down. This could potentially have been a fantastic Star Wars movie(s). Can't help but wonder that if they went ahead and said yes, and this trailer was Star Wars themed, how many people would lose their collective shit over it and say how it looks like Star Wars is returning to good form.
But Star Wars is still being pretty shitty and I only have interest in the Ahsoka show because of the appearance of Anakin.

The Ahsoka show has me a bit lost since I haven't seen Rebels. I expected Rebels refernces of course, but they are not subtle with it. They literally act like every Star Wars fan have seen fucking Rebels.

I did sit through Rebels, though I can't say I recall much about it. It was just not that memorable. So even to me some of the references may well be lost on me.

Surprised he tried to pitch anything else to them after how they were with him on Justice League (and DC in general). He could've gone to Universal or Paramount, much better studios IMO. Still, it is what it is.

To be fair, WB gave Snyder multiple chances. Not sure how Universal or Paramount would do things any better with him. Hell, it was even reported that Netflix themselves had to restrain Snyder when making Rebel Moon. Because Snyder LOVES hard R super long cuts of his movies. Netflix were like, cut the crap. That's why you are not getting the R rated directors cut of Rebel Moon from the get go.

But he is getting his directors cuts. Whether they are R rated or not I cannot say at the moment.

Disney's Star Wars has been a mixed bag, though.

Depends on when David Ayer said that. If he said it around the time or prior to Endgame, then he'd be entirely wrong, however if he had said it now.. I think his words would probably have more sway.

I remember. I think he said it during Comic Con or something before the first Suicide Squad came out.
