I think it's a bit of a cheat, because when you really think about it, the MCU is actually multiple franchises all in one. I guess from a certain point of view. I think I have seen some of those. I remember the slide on the tail.

I disagree with that video. What rule says every movie has to follow a single storyline? -_-

An MCU movie is but a window showing us part of a larger universe.

I thought it was obvious. Kang is coming to cause some shiiit. Besides, I don't like that the MCU does that. The comics does that crap. I'm like, WTF does this comic have to do with the other? Besides, Marvel Studios is now trying to tackle Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, X-Men, etc. I don't know why this universe has to be Avengers-centric. That's not how it is in the comics.

It's a formula that comes with movies in general. Some movie lovers prefer the movie actually be what it says on the tin, for example the first Dr. Strange MCU movie is pretty self contained to Dr. Strange himself, whereas the sequel kind of diverts attention away from him quite a lot. Like they don't want to watch something like Book of Boba Fett and realize that it's mostly about The Mandalorian.
But that's just my guess. It could just be they want to nitpick.

That's the thing, you are proving my point. People can't grasp the full storyline if there is a Scarlet Witch movie and The Children's Crusade show in the works. So the Doctor Strange 2 might suffer from that as well.
Also Book of Boba Fett is just one big The Mandalorian filler. Like they cut The Mandalorian in half and made it to it's own show basically.

What I mean is that could be why they don't like it, because they want it to be more in line with a movie standard over a comic standard. Either way I don't care, I'm just happy to see more if it's entertaining and my cup of tea.

Or discuss it anyway with spoiler tags, or in a dedicated spoiler thread any time you want.

I see a lot of VFX artists are saying that they aren't going to work on Marvel shows anymore. All of them are saying that crunch is really bad.

I mean, it's not surprising. I said for years that creating a "cinematic universe" is problematic because the deadlines are tighter. Like, okay, Black Panther has to be released of this very specific date all because of Infinity War? That's fine and all, but you are making things a lot more difficult for the people that work on these MCU projects just for fan service.
