Watched the color version last night, still not much to say about this other than it's decent, the artificial film grain and dirt is a nice touch.

I haven't seen it yet, but adding grain and dirt in the color version makes no sense. I don't know. Have to watch it soon to get an idea of it. Maybe it is trying to be more like the 50s or 60s horror movies instead than 30s or 40s.

I think Planet Terror was the last movie that comes to mind where I noticed the digital grain and dirt and whatnot. I didn't get that sense from Werewolf By Night black and white version though, but maybe I forgot. Going to give it a second chance soon, though.
