Looks like Parliament is talking about banning Russell Brand off the internet. This whole thing is getting scary now.

A) it should be Youtube that gets to decide who should be banned or not B) it is an accusation. I could point at someone and call them a rapist and that person will just instantly lose their job etc and I don't even have to provide real or genuine evidence. Innocent until proven guilty is how it ought to be.
Cliff Richard survived this ordeal, he was accused and went through hell but he only just survived mentally. I personally let the facts and evidence tell the truth, not the subjective opinion or unfounded claims of others.

Even though the US and Canada are seen as culturally the same (which they kinda are mostly), there are still VERY small minor differences. Canada still has the European mentally of sexuality > violence. Americans don't condone violence, we are just use to it is all. Same how Canada and Europe are just use to sexuality. Like Canadaian kids shows would often have sexual references more so than American kids shows, and young Canadaian teens can get into a naughty adult rated movie much easier than young American teens do. But since Canada is our neighbor, our breaking point is not too far off.

I don't think it is fair putting Jamie Foxx here. It's just one accusser and not much evidence at all. If more stuff comes out of the closet, then maybe yeah.

Well, Russell Brand was discussed here too without any conviction or any evidence of guilt, so I don't see a problem with discussing it here which is an appropriate on topic thread for what he is accused of.

I'm not saying Russell Brand is guilty, but I remember he has been accused for years and by "multiple women". With Jamie Foxx, it just came out of nowhere. Still trying to wrap my head around it.

I heard the previous claims against him were dismissed as untrue, so it could be that someone is just trying to put a false claim in for money. But I can't rule out the possibility that it might be true either.
But for the life of me, I personally will never understand why people wait years to take legal action against something bad they experienced. This claim is apparently from being groped on a rooftop in 2015 and apparently had a witness too. So why wait 8 years? I would've sued the next fucking day.
