Yes, because if some of those names are true, it's going to be a case of some people going completely cold turkey on media those people were in. In my case I can't simply abandon a movie that a lot of people worked hard on just because of the actions of 1 single person out of the thousands that helped make the movie happen.
So in my case I will simply continue to enjoy the movies I enjoy. But others will take different approaches, and I can't blame them for it.

If Carrey is a pedo... IF... then that makes me hate people like him even more. Pretending to have high morels and shit by refusing to promote Kick-Ass 2 all because of his pro anti-guns, yet no problem pointing his own gun at underage teens. Again, not saying Carrey did these things. Hell, Epstein probably tried to menipulate these celeberties. Just saying, I hate bad people that tried to pretend like they have higher morels than you in general.

The best actors are always the nicest when you meet them, because they are acting. With actors it can be difficult to tell what is genuine and what isn't.
Also The Weeknd might have to remake his Dawn FM album since Jim Carrey is part of it, depending on what happens.

There's two tracks of thought that are going through my mind. The first that they're all creeps knowing what they where doing. Before being blackmailed
The second, some where tricked into it and where being blackmailed. Sort of like what Traci Lords did.

It is entirely possible that Epstein could have forced the girls to lie about their age and/or forced them not to mention anything about themselves so Epstein himself could convince the celebrities that the girls were of legal age in order to get evidence on the celebrities to use against them. For all intents and purposes in the celebrities' minds he could've simply been a pimp. That way the "victim" simply wouldn't know that said celebrity was made to believe the victim was of legal age despite the victim not being so.
And what if the celebrities might've noticed some hesitation in the girls or sensed that they might not have been of sound mind and judgement (could be drunk or drugged) but continued anyway?
Ultimately we might not ever know the full and complete truth, but I believe if the celebrities really were innocent and were duped by Epstein then they could at least come forward and do the right thing by giving the truth instead of covering it up like a criminal to save their own asses.

It's just not a good situation and they should have had the sense to stay away from Epstein's island (depending on how many visits they took, if it's more than once then they can't really claim innocence anymore).

And they had just announced Toy Story 5 as well. Of course, Tom Hanks is Woody. Although apparently his brother did Woody's voice for the toys. So at least he can be replaced. You know it's funny, Tom Hanks potentially being a pedo.. he played Geppetto in the live action Pinocchio movie, and Family Guy did this Geppetto pedo joke years ago:

You don't think that Tim knows something? I think it's a possibility. It really feels like Tim's message on Toy Story 5 has double meaning, as if he's taking a jab at Tom personally. I mean it's a very specific quote out of the many memorable quotes Buzz has said.. so taking it at face value only seems to be an unwise choice, at least IMO. |
