Thanos is NOT as strong as most people make him out to be. People who say he is all because of the infinity stones is a cop out. By that logic, Hulk is the strongest superhero in the MCU because he brought back everyone with the infinity stones. Because without the infinity stones, Thanos was sure getting his ass kicked a few times by Thor, Wanda, and Captain Marvel.

Honestly, Last Stand wasn't that big of a drop-off in quality compared to X-Men and X2.......
Still bad adaption but so were the other two films.

If measured attributes were all that mattered, the outcome of a fight would be obvious in advance, and rematches would be pointless because after the first victory, who is strongest is already known.
I like that things aren't so clear cut. The results can be different because people are complex and situations are different. Just when you think you've reached the top, there's always another plateau and you have to push yourself more.

Batman can easily kick most of his villains asses, yet somehow still greatly struggles. They also OP Batman up when he fights Bane, Deathstroke and Justice League villains. So they are not consistent with Batman either. That's fine. My problem with the whole "Thanos being the strongest" argument is that people include the infinity stones like it's one of his abilities or something. |

Despite the excellent streak of the MCU, I'm still worried that their version of the Fantastic Four will be like. I haven't liked any of the other iterations. I just want Thing to be done right. If they get his character right, in my opinion he will be insanely popular in the MCU.
