I'm still gonna watch it since it will clear up the DCEU a bit but I really can't help but feel like it's gonna get worse as well.

There have been movies made about people who have done terrible things in real life, serial killer movies, tragedy movies (9-11 and the plane hijackings). Those made money. There seems to be a line that gets drawn over what's acceptable and what isn't. It's fine to sit through a recreation of a bad situaiton but not a movie that was made amidst a bad situation beause one of the actors is connected to said situation.

Those movies about serial killers didn't star actual serial killers! Most people aren't going sit through a movie where the main actor is know for trying to brainwash children into cult. I enjoyed the the first two Jeepers Creepers movies way back in the day, that was until I learned about the director is a convicted paedophile. I, and so many other people, can never watch those movies. Because, it's hard or impossible for someone to enjoy a movie when one of the main people who made it is evil. |

It's what I mean. People won't watch The Flash because it stars Ezra but they'll pay good money to watch a movie that covers Ezra Miller and the events and recreations of what he did. So is the line drawn being unable to separate the art from the artist or is it drawn profiting from the terrible events of it all?  |

Somewhat. Both Elvis and Dune Part Two are WB films, so it makes sense for the studio to be impressed by the guy's work to give him a DC role.

According to a source close to the situation, Miller does hope to address the allegations at some point, but they have chosen to privately focus on their health and healing over the coming months.

I mean, I figured something personal may have happened to Miller behind the scenes, but still hard to defend him when he doesn't say anything. Really hope this is true. I liked Miller ever since The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Really hope he's not really a psycho and shit.
