characters like Echo. Like, why? Because she has disabilities? Lots of Marvel characters do. Heavy ties to Daredevil and Kingpin. Helps set the stage for Born Again. They already set up Daredevil and Kingpin in the MCU, though. It just doesn't feel necessary when you can easily just have her as a side character in Born Again. Now if the character became popular with fans like with Agents Carter and Black Widow, then that's a little different. But Echo hasn't earned it yet. It feels forced. Kinda feels like Eteranls was only made because of one certain celestial scene that may set up Captain America: Brave New World and Wolverine, IF the leaks are true anyway. Seems like a waste of money doing a movie or show just for a set up or two. |

Kingpin was set up in Hawkeye technically, and Daredevil in No Way Home. Echo is sort of useless.

I really hope the movie bombing so badly won't affect her future in the franchise. Even many of the negative reviews agree that she was the bright spot of the film.

As long as you don't treat regular users (non-staff) that way then I don't particularly mind the personal attacks, and can let opinions vary. Since you are a moderator and one of the rules we wish to implement are no personal attacks it will be up to you to reign it in sometimes.
