Either Tuesday or Wednesday for me depending on the weather, I don't have the highest expectations so hopefully it surprises. At least it should be better than Fury of Gods and Flash.

It was alright, easily the best of the 3 DC films this year, though that's not saying a ton. The plot is basically a mishmash of 3 or 4 different superhero movies. It is generic, but at the same time it has a good lead performance, some fun humor, good family dynamic and emotion, and enough cool bits to make it worthwhile, even if we've seen most of this before. Susan Sarandon is so bad in this though, she's clearly phoning it in for a check, LOL. 7/10
No trailer for The Nun II thankfully.

3/5. Not that amazing, but not that bad either. Just the average superhero movie with all the tropes, including a bus scene. There's always a fucking bus that the hero has to rescue. Shit's such a cliche but whatever.

IMO, Blue Beetle was much better than The Flash. Unfortunately there's no way this was going to succeed with it being tied to a defunct cinematic universe, having an unknown lead character, and coming out at a time when CBMs aren't quite at their peak anymore. This would've likely done well 5 years ago.

I actually liked The Flash more than Blue Beetle, but the latter is a refreshing new hero on the big screen so I understand the appeal.

Saw it today and loved it. Unlike say Quantumania, this had real energy to it and never felt boring. Not to mention style to spare.
Also, we need more practical suits in superhero movies cause damn, the Beetle suit here looked gorgeous.

I presume we won't see him appear again. With the movie releasing in the midst of the actors strike and it being part of a defunct cinematic universe, Xolo was definitely dealt a bad hand here, oh well.
